The Prior Lake Savage Area Educational Foundation. It was founded with the following objectives:
An educational
foundation can serve many purposes, but the general intent is to
provide funding for activities that are beyond the scope of
traditionally supported school district activities. A community based
committee solicits donations, manages those funds and disburses them
usually through a granting process. It is important for the non-profit
foundation be a separate entity from the school district it
serves.
